The Toronto District School Board and the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity are excited to announce EnVision a one-day conference for students committed to making schools safer for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Envision is for students who are part of, or who want to start a gay straight-alliance, queer-straight alliance, gender justice group, equity club or a group of engaged students interested in social justice and healthy relationships. Students of all sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome!
The conference is free for TDSB students, and includes snacks and a pizza lunch. EnVision is a full day, with registration opening at 8:00, and programming from 9:00 - 3:30.
Workshops for this year's conference were planned based on topics proposed by students at last year's conference, including: Bisexuality, Perspectives of LGBTQ People with Disabilities, Being a Person of Colour and Queer/Trans, Decolonizing Queer Spaces, Using They/Them Pronouns, and more.
Conference highlights will include:
Accessibility Note: Central Technical Institute is an older building, and the accessibility is not great, but there are doors on the east side with a ramp and no lip, an elevator between floors, and an accessible washroom. The access to the cafeteria is through the kitchen.

Envision will take place on November 21, 2018 at Central Technical School (725 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON M5S 2R5) and is FREE for all participants!
