Event Description

The Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity, in partnership with Burnaby School District 41, will provide an LGBTQ+ Youth Forum to local high school students from around British Columbia on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Moscrop Secondary School (4433 Moscrop St, Burnaby BS V5G 2G3). Participation and lunch are FREE!

We understand the importance of providing knowledge, tools and skills for youth to navigate through their school experiences. Having access to workshops that provide education on inclusivity can help students normalize their feelings, identities and relationships. We will cover topics such as LGBTQ+ Terminology, Transgender Inclusivity, Intersectionality, Healthy Relationships, LGBTQ2+ History and other various topics that cover many of the intersecting identities in the LGBTQ+ community.

There will be professional development workshops for educators and students during the 2 breakout sessions of the day.

To reserve your spot at the event, fill in in the information below and make your selection for the breakout sessions. There is a limited number of spaces in each workshop and spots are reserved on a first come, first served.

Please complete the registration below by Tuesday, October 16th, 2018.

We can't wait to see you there!
